Why rent a Tesla in Dubai

Most people who rent a Tesla in Dubai want to live with an electric car for a few weeks or months before deciding whether to buy one, or simply want a quiet, quick car for daily driving without paying for petrol. Urban Go sources both current Tesla models, the Model 3 sedan and the Model Y SUV, and if you are looking to rent an electric car in Dubai more generally, these are the two we are asked for most.

• Tesla Model 3: a five-seat electric sedan. The Long Range rear-wheel-drive version sold in the UAE from 2025 is rated at up to 702 km on the WLTP cycle, so a Dubai to Abu Dhabi return trip uses well under half a charge.
• Tesla Model Y: a five-seat electric SUV with a higher seating position and more luggage space than the Model 3, including a front boot under the bonnet as well as the main boot. It is the one most families ask for.
• Charging: DEWA reported more than 1,860 public charging points across Dubai in January 2026, and Teslas can also use Tesla's own Superchargers. Many residential towers and villa communities have chargers in the car park.
• Driving: both models are automatic with a single large touchscreen, and both are very quiet at motorway speed.

Tesla rental Dubai: how the Fleet+ quote works

Urban Go does not hold Teslas in its own fleet, so we do not publish a fixed price for them. They are sourced through Fleet+, our licensed partner network, and quoted at the current market rate on WhatsApp. Send your dates, how long you need the car, whether you want the Model 3 or the Model Y, and your delivery address. We usually confirm availability within 24 hours. The RTA rental contract is issued under Urban Go's name as an RTA-authorised dealer and agency, so the insurance, deposit terms and support are the same as for any car we own.

What is included

The contract terms are the same for Fleet+ cars and our own fleet:

• Comprehensive insurance, registration, routine maintenance and 24/7 breakdown assistance, with CDW, SCDW and Ultimate Cover upgrades available
• 3,500 km a month on monthly rentals, which covers a daily commute plus regular trips to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah
• VAT-inclusive pricing, so the figure we quote is the figure you pay
• A refundable deposit of AED 1,500, with a no-deposit option available if you would rather not tie the money up
• Salik passed through at cost plus AED 1 per pass, and any traffic fines billed to you, itemised
• Delivery for AED 100 and collection at the end for AED 25 more, centred on Downtown Dubai and nearby communities, with other areas on request. Airport delivery to DXB is AED 125

We agree the charge level the car goes back at when we confirm the quote. Car swaps during the rental are usually available but never guaranteed, since Teslas depend on partner availability.

Documents you need

UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence. Visitors need a passport, their visa or entry stamp and a home-country driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit only where that licence is not on the MOI recognised list. The minimum driver age is 21, and a young driver fee applies to drivers aged 21 to 24.

2. We check availability with the Fleet+ partner and send a market-rate quote with a booking reference, usually within 24 hours.
3. Send your documents on WhatsApp and choose the standard deposit or the no-deposit option. We issue the RTA rental contract under Urban Go's name.
4. We deliver the car to you. Our office is at Dubai Shopping Center, Office FF-30, Port Saeed, Dubai.
