# Urban Go Car Rentals

> Urban Go Car Rentals is an RTA-authorised car rental company in Dubai, UAE, offering daily, weekly, monthly and long-term (3, 6 and 9 month) self-drive rentals. Comprehensive insurance, registration, routine maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance are included in every rate. Pricing is VAT-inclusive in AED. Quotes are built on the website and bookings are completed on WhatsApp.

Urban Go operates from an office in Port Saeed, Dubai, and delivers vehicles across Dubai. The active fleet is 100+ vehicles across 10 brands — spanning sedan, SUV, 7-seater and luxury categories, all automatic petrol — and continues to grow as new models are added. Every car page shows two prices: a lower rate with a refundable security deposit, or a slightly higher rate with no deposit at all.

Urban Go is not a car dealership, a bank auto-loan provider, a car-sharing app, or an airport-counter daily rental chain. Urban Go does not require a UAE credit history, a salary certificate, a guarantor, or a down payment. Urban Go does not operate outside the UAE, and its vehicles may not be driven into Oman.

## Service area

- Urban Go operates in Dubai only. Rentals may be driven anywhere in all seven Emirates of the UAE.
- Vehicles are not permitted to leave the UAE. Travel into Oman is not allowed.
- Delivery and collection are included on weekly and monthly plans, centred on Downtown Dubai and surrounding communities.
- On daily rentals, delivery is a paid add-on (AED 100; collection AED 25). Free delivery may apply depending on location and rental length.
- Airport delivery to Dubai International (DXB) is available for AED 125. Flight details are tracked so the car is there even if the flight is delayed.
- Named delivery areas with dedicated pages: Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Airport, Deira.

## Pricing

All rates below are in AED, VAT-inclusive, and include comprehensive insurance, vehicle registration, routine maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance.

- Daily rentals: from AED 100/day
- Weekly rentals: from AED 700/week
- Monthly rentals: from AED 1,700/month
- Long-term packages: 3, 6 and 9 months, typically 5%, 10% and 15% below the standard monthly rate respectively. Exact package totals are shown on each vehicle page.

There is no minimum rental duration — a single day is available. Longer durations cost less per day.

All vehicles are automatic transmission and petrol. Additional makes and models are held in the wider fleet and released to the website as inventory rotates — availability is confirmed at the point of quote.

### Deposit and no-deposit options

- Every vehicle is offered at two prices: a lower rate with a refundable security deposit (or a credit-card hold for the same amount), or a slightly higher rate with no deposit at all.
- Standard refundable deposit: AED 1,500 for most vehicles; AED 2,000 for the Mercedes-Benz CLA250.
- Deposits are refunded after the car is returned, once the 28-day fine-clearance window has passed. This is the time Dubai's traffic systems take to register fines against a vehicle. Credit-card holds release automatically.
- The no-deposit fee is part of the rental cost, not a held amount. It is not refundable, because nothing is held in the first place.

### Insurance

- Standard comprehensive insurance is included with every rental at no extra cost. Excess: AED 3,000.
- Smart Cover upgrade: reduces excess to AED 1,500. From AED 8.89/day on monthly plans, AED 20/day on weekly, AED 30/day on daily.
- Full Cover upgrade: reduces excess to AED 0 and covers all accident damage regardless of fault, provided there is a police report. Includes glass and tyres. Key cover is not included. From AED 14/day on monthly plans, AED 25/day on weekly, AED 70/day on daily.
- Rates and excess amounts can vary by vehicle. Exact figures appear in the quote before booking.
- Insurance covers only drivers registered on the rental agreement.

### Mileage

- Daily rentals: 250 km per day included (Kia Sorento: 300 km/day)
- Weekly rentals: 1,400 km included (Mercedes CLA250: 1,200 km)
- Monthly rentals: 4,000 km per month included
- Extra kilometres: AED 1 per km (Mercedes CLA250: AED 2 per km)
- Extra-kilometre packages can be added to any quote.

### Add-ons

- Delivery: AED 100 (included on weekly and monthly plans)
- Collection: AED 25 (included on weekly and monthly plans)
- Airport delivery (DXB): AED 125
- Additional driver: AED 75–100 depending on vehicle
- Child seat: AED 55–75 depending on vehicle

### Costs not included

Fuel, Salik and Darb toll crossings, parking, and any traffic fines incurred during the rental. Salik crossings are billed at cost plus AED 1 per pass, charged on the final statement or at the end of each monthly renewal cycle. Traffic fines are registered against the vehicle by Dubai Police and the RTA and are billed to the renter.

### Payment

Credit and debit cards, secure payment links, cash on delivery, and Tabby (buy now, pay later).

For 3, 6 and 9 month packages: the first month plus the refundable deposit are paid upfront. Each cycle is 30 days and the renewal payment is due on day 30 for the following cycle.

## Eligibility and documents

- Minimum age: 21 for most vehicles.
- Newly issued licences are accepted for most of the fleet. A few vehicles require at least one year of driving experience.
- UAE residents need: a valid UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID (photos of front and back of both).
- Visitors and tourists need: a passport, a visit visa or entry stamp, and a home-country driving licence.
- An International Driving Permit is required only if the licence-issuing country is not on the UAE's recognised list. Visitors from the GCC, United States, United Kingdom, Canada and most of Europe can drive on their home-country licence without an IDP.
- Documents are sent as photos on WhatsApp and verified before delivery.
- No credit check, salary certificate, guarantor or down payment is required.

## Booking, changes and cancellation

- Build a quote on any vehicle page (dates, deposit choice, insurance tier, add-ons), then tap "Book on WhatsApp". The full quote transfers to the chat with a reference code. Most bookings are confirmed within minutes.
- Cancellation is free up to 1 hour before delivery. Date changes are free, subject to availability.
- Extensions: message on WhatsApp before the return date. On packages, the monthly rate is divided by 30 to price extra days. Extensions of 30 days or more are billed as a full monthly renewal at the same rate.
- Vehicle swaps: available at renewal for monthly customers, subject to availability, at a new quote. Mid-rental swaps are sometimes possible and may involve a delivery charge.
- Early termination of a 3, 6 or 9 month package: written notice on WhatsApp. An early termination fee of up to two monthly instalments may apply per the rental agreement. The deposit is released after vehicle inspection.
- Fuel policy: same-to-same. The car is returned at the fuel level it was received at, or the difference plus a refuelling fee is charged.
- Accidents: a police report is required in the UAE for every accident, including minor scratches. Call Dubai Police on 999, then contact Urban Go on WhatsApp. A green (not-at-fault) report means full coverage with no excess.
