Why rent the Range Rover Velar in Dubai
The Velar is the Range Rover people choose when they want the badge and the cabin without the size of a full Range Rover or the price of a Sport. Most rent Range Rover Dubai enquiries we get are for the Velar on a monthly contract: it is a five-seat mid-size SUV that parks easily at a mall, handles the Abu Dhabi road without fuss and looks right pulling up to a hotel or a client's office.
The car Urban Go supplies is the 2025 Range Rover Velar with the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine (the P250, 250 PS and 365 Nm) driving all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. In the UAE the Velar is also sold with a 3.0-litre inline-six mild hybrid as the P340 and P400; those are not the car on this page, and we can quote one separately on request.
- Seats: 5, with a flat, wide rear bench and a high centre console
- Boot: 748 litres with the rear seats up by the manufacturer's own measurement, growing to 1,811 litres with them folded, so two large suitcases plus cabin bags fit without stacking
- Engine: 2.0L turbo petrol, 250 PS, 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds
- Fuel: official combined figures of roughly 9 to 10 L/100km; expect a little more in city traffic with the air conditioning on
- Fuel tank: 83 litres, so a Dubai to Abu Dhabi return trip uses around a third of a tank
- Length: 4.80 m, with 214 mm of ground clearance on standard suspension
Rent Range Rover Dubai: what the Velar costs at Urban Go
The Velar is a partner car with published rates, so the price below is fixed and the contract is issued under Urban Go's name as an RTA-authorised dealer and agency. Prices are in AED and include VAT.
| Term | Rate (AED) | Mileage included |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | 450 | 300 km per day |
| Weekly | 3,099 | 300 km per day |
| Monthly | 12,999 | 4,000 km per month |
| 3 months | 37,047 | 4,000 km per month |
| 6 months | 70,194 | 4,000 km per month |
Monthly works out at about AED 433 per day, so for more than a week or two choose a monthly car rental in Dubai. The 3-month and 6-month terms are priced per contract rather than per month. Full specs and photos are on the Range Rover Velar 2025 vehicle page.
What is included
- Comprehensive insurance, with CDW, SCDW and Ultimate Cover upgrades available if you want a lower or zero excess
- 4,000 km per month on monthly contracts, 300 km per day on daily and weekly hires; extra kilometres are priced up front if you tell us you will need them
- VAT-inclusive pricing
- A deposit of AED 2,000 on this car, refundable once it is returned and any Salik or fines are settled. Our standard deposit on most cars is AED 1,500, and a zero-deposit option is available on request
- Delivery anywhere in Dubai from AED 100 depending on the location, with collection at the end of the rental AED 25 more; airport delivery from AED 125
- Salik passed through at cost plus AED 1 per pass; traffic fines passed through to you
- Fuel returned same-to-same, so you only pay for what you use
Car swaps during a longer rental are usually available but not guaranteed, because this car comes from a partner's fleet. If you are comparing it with other premium SUVs, the luxury car rental and SUV rental pages list everything we have at this level.
Who it suits
Executives on a monthly contract. The Velar is quiet at 120 km/h and the cabin is leather and glass rather than hard plastic. At AED 12,999 a month it is a good fit for a three to six month project posting where you want something your clients recognise.
Couples and small families visiting Dubai. Five seats, a boot that takes the airport luggage for four people, and enough range to do Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Hatta on a day trip without refuelling. The 2.0-litre engine keeps fuel costs sensible for a car of this size.
Residents between cars. If you have sold a car and are waiting on a new one, a one or two month Velar rental with 4,000 km included avoids a dealer loan car or a hurried purchase, and the zero-deposit option means you do not have to tie up cash.
Documents you need
UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence. Visitors need a passport, their visa or entry stamp and a home-country driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit only where that licence is not on the MOI recognised list. The minimum driver age is 21, and a young driver fee applies to drivers aged 21 to 24. Send clear photos of the documents on WhatsApp and we prepare the contract before the car arrives.
How to book
Message us on WhatsApp at +971 50 500 3965 with your dates, the term you want and a delivery address if you need one, or call the office on +971 4 263 1556. We confirm the Velar is available for your dates, usually within a few hours, and send a booking reference. The RTA contract is issued under Urban Go's name once your documents are checked and the deposit is paid. The car is then delivered to your address or ready for collection at our office at Dubai Shopping Center, Office FF-30, Port Saeed, Dubai. Urban Go holds a 5.0 rating from 50+ Google reviews.
