Why rent the Wrangler in Dubai
A Jeep Wrangler rental in Dubai is one of the few bookings where the car is the point of the trip rather than a way to get to it. The Wrangler is a body-on-frame 4x4 with a removable roof and doors, solid axles and a low-range gearbox, which makes it the obvious choice for a weekend at the Hatta wadis, a drive out to the Al Qudra lakes or a morning on the dunes near Lahbab. It is also easy enough to live with in the city: the ride is firmer than a Prado or a Fortuner, but the driving position is high and the car fits a standard Dubai parking bay.
The car Urban Go supplies is the 2026 Wrangler, which in the UAE is sold with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making about 270 hp and 400 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic and selectable four-wheel drive. The turbo four replaced the old V6 as the standard GCC engine and it is a better fit for Dubai traffic, with stronger low-speed response and lower fuel use.
- Seats: 5 adults in the four-door body, with a high seating position and large windows
- Boot: around 2,000 litres with the rear seats folded; with the seats up it takes two large suitcases and two cabin bags, so a family airport run is no problem
- Engine: 2.0-litre turbo petrol, 8-speed automatic, 4x4 with low range and an 81-litre fuel tank
- Fuel: official combined figures of roughly 9.2 to 9.9 L/100km; in Dubai traffic with the air conditioning on, expect 11 to 13 L/100km
- Size: 4.88 m long with about 240 mm of ground clearance, so kerbs, speed bumps and sandy tracks are not a concern
What a Jeep Wrangler rental in Dubai costs at Urban Go
These are the published rates for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler on the vehicle page. Prices include VAT and comprehensive insurance.
| Plan | Price | Kilometres included |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | AED 450 | 250 km per day |
| Weekly | AED 2,950 | 250 km per day |
| Monthly | AED 6,399 | 3,500 km per month |
| 3 months | Quoted on request | 3,500 km per month |
| 6 months | Quoted on request | 3,500 km per month |
The monthly plan works out at about AED 213 a day, less than half the daily rate, which is why most residents who want a Wrangler for a season take it by the month. For three or six months, message us on WhatsApp for a longer-term quote. Our monthly car rental in Dubai page explains how the rolling monthly contract works.
What is included
- Comprehensive insurance as standard, with CDW, SCDW and Ultimate Cover upgrades available if you want a lower or zero excess
- 3,500 km per month on monthly plans and 250 km per day on daily and weekly plans; extra kilometres are charged at the rate on your contract
- VAT-inclusive pricing, so the figure we quote is the figure you pay
- A standard deposit of AED 1,500, refunded after the car is returned and fines have cleared; a zero-deposit option is available on request for a small premium
- Delivery anywhere in Dubai from AED 100 depending on the location, collection at the end of the rental AED 25 more, and airport delivery from AED 125
- Salik passed through at cost plus AED 1 per pass, traffic fines passed through, and fuel returned at the same level you received it
Car swaps are usually available if your plans change, although we cannot guarantee a specific replacement. If the Wrangler is booked out on your dates, we hold other 4x4s and mid-size SUVs; see our SUV rental in Dubai page for what is available today.
Who the Wrangler suits
- Weekend explorers. Hatta, Fossil Rock, the Al Qudra cycle track and the Jebel Jais road are all within two hours. A daily or weekly rental over a long weekend is the typical booking.
- Residents who want a fun daily driver. The monthly plan at AED 6,399 gets you the Wrangler for the whole cooler season without buying one, with insurance and maintenance handled by us.
- Visitors on a two or three week trip. The weekly rate covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah in one car, and the four-door body takes a family's luggage.
Please note the Wrangler is a serious off-roader, but off-road use still needs to be agreed with us in advance so the insurance cover is correct. Dune driving without that agreement is not covered.
Documents you need
UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence. Visitors need a passport, a visa or entry stamp and their home driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit only if the licence is not on the Ministry of Interior's recognised list. The minimum driver age is 21, and a young driver fee applies to drivers aged 21 to 24.

- Your rental contract is issued by Urban Go, an RTA-authorised dealer and agency, from our office at Dubai Shopping Center, Office FF-30, Port Saeed, Dubai.
- Collect from the office or have the Wrangler delivered to your door, hotel or the airport, where we go through the car and the documents with you.
